Anarkia Boladona is open about her works having a feminist message. Murals such as this one have a woman’s face being obscured by her hair, but displaying her naked body. The explicit, yet shy quality of her works comment on the double standards inflicted by society onto women. The use of shading within the piece also resembles bruising, which is Boladona’s way of making the public aware of domestic violence.
